BUDDY PROGRAM

The Team Nikhil Buddy Program fosters meaningful connections between children in the community (“buddies”) and participants in our inclusive events. Many of our participants have unique needs, which may include limited physical mobility, nonverbal communication, sensory processing challenges, and/or cognitive differences.

Students grade 6 and up are eligible to register. 

We also encourage younger students to participate. Please contact us about the opportunity to volunteer as a junior buddy; you will be paired with a middle or high school buddy. 

Buddies are not required to have prior experience working with children with special needs. What matters most is a genuine interest in building connections, a compassionate mindset, and a willingness to learn.
